Pallet Shuttle Storage System

Pallet Shuttle Storage System is a semi-automated storage solution from Hefei Hagong Robot for high-density pallet storage. A wireless remote-controlled shuttle car runs on racking rails and moves pallets inside deep-lane racking automatically. It can work with a forklift or a stacker crane. The system includes shuttle cars, high-density racking, lifting equipment such as a forklift or stacker crane, a wireless remote, and a charging system. Single car load is 1000kg to 1500kg. System height can reach up to 15 meters, depending on the matched lifting equipment. Because of the deep-lane design, the number of aisles can be reduced by more than 60%, and storage volume in the same area is clearly higher than traditional beam racking.

The working mode balances efficiency and flexibility. The shuttle car handles transport inside the aisle automatically. It runs fast and smoothly. Forklift drivers do not need to enter narrow aisles, which avoids the risk of hitting the racking and improves safety. The system can be set for first-in-first-out or first-in-last-out access, fitting different inventory strategies. In cold storage, the shuttle car can replace people and forklifts for long work in low temperatures. This raises efficiency and reduces labor cost and safety risk.
